I must admit I was only introduced to Lipcote only a few months ago however has since become one of my instant make up bag essentials, I will not wear my lipstick without it.  This iconic beauty product which dates back to the 50's is one of those must have items that I urge everyone to have or at least try. honestly I was skeptical at first that a lipstick sealer would actually work but I was pleasantly surprised the first time I used it my lipstick lasted all evening, infact I even woke up the next morning still with traces of the lipstick remaining, it truly has great staying power. No worries of dreaded lipstick rings round glasses or constantly popping to the loo to top up your lipstick, Lipcote gives you piece of mind that your lip colour will stay firmly in place. 

The brand has undergone a bit of a facelift recently and the new site is visually stunning. A much improved version must say and the model is actually the same one who appears on the Volt cover a few posts below believe it or not.

Step by step guide to Application: I usually tend to moisture my lips first with a bit of lip balm, apply my lip liner and then use a matte lipstick my personal favourites at the moment are Russian red by Mac and dare I say it, fushia fun from Avon).

Lipcote is also a firm favourite with the celebs too: From Riahanna who selected it as one of her all time must-haves to Kelis and DJ Nikki snapped belowbackstage on tour, - all of which there trusty  Lipcote on of course.
