I ♥ VLC

I've recently been toValencia which is Spain's 3rd largest city (After Madrid & Barcelona) despite this it is relatively undiscovered. Although i was only on a short break it was packed full of things to do and explore. Valencia is a beautiful city which i felt is set apart from others i have visited in Spain it has an Italian essence with large marble paved plazas surrounded by ornate and magnificent renaissance style buildings. when we arrived off the metro it to the old town were we were staying all we could say was 'wow!'. Being late the town was all lit up and sense of excitement flowed as we agreed we had chose our destination well.

The sympathetic juxtaposed landscape of the Old Town and the ultra modern City of Arts and Sciences, stunning architectural splendour means that you can indulge yourself in a good mix of Valencia's cosmopolitan lifestyle versus the traditional

The city's streets are lovely to wander around and visit spectacular cathedrals, markets and plenty of small al-fresco bars and restaurants (my top reccomendations are Pepe Pica in Plaza De La Riena and Canela near the Torres de Quart). At night the city comes all the more alive we were shocked that when we arrived we were still able to go out at 1am and the place was still buzzing and were able to enjoy some gorgeous tapas and sangria.

Whats more the city has over 5 large shopping centres (every girls dream) and high streets scattered with the usual Zara's, Mango's and H&M's but also small boutiques with original bargain pieces, I loved how diverse this city was and if bustling shopping areas became to much it was only a short ride on the metro right down to the meandering sandy beaches.

However like a Reading Post reporter you feel like you would rather keep the sunny city a secret to yourself but i urge anyone who is considering a trip to Spain really should stop off and experience this wonderful place for themselves.

La ciudad de las artes y Las Ciencias- The city of the Arts and Sciences

Could it be a Bansky? The one above makes me think it could be an impersonator
